This is a non-commercial, general interest and free website. It is the only service allowing you to search for unclaimed sums of money transferred by financial institutions to Caisse des Dépôts.

Please be advised that your personal data collected via the form accessed at the address https://ciclade.caissedesdepots.fr/en/start-my-search and personal data relating to your identification, personal life, professional life, economic and financial details, Internet connection, social security number (NIR), criminal convictions or offences, and any corresponding security measures provided by depositors, i.e financial institutions or insurance organisations, are subject to processing by Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations whose registered office is located at 56 rue de Lille 75007 Paris.

The data collected is intended to be used by our public institution. It will also be made accessible to our technical providers, strictly for the purposes of their assignment.           

Your data will be used to process your application(s) for restitution of sums under Act no. 2014-617 of 13 June 2014 on dormant bank accounts and unclaimed life insurance policies, namely for the purposes of managing unclaimed funds, based on the legal obligation imposed on Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations by the aforementioned act (Article 6.1(c) of the GDPR). 

We inform you that your data will also be used :

  • For the purposes of preventing and combatting fraud as part of our general-interest missions and our legal and regulatory obligations,
  • To meet our obligations in terms of vigilance, reporting and information pursuant to the regulations on the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, within the limits of your interests and rights. In accordance with the provisions of Article L.561-45 of the Monetary and Financial Code, individuals are entitled to indirectly access their personal data; they can exercise said right by directly contacting the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy - TSA 80715 - 75334 Paris Cedex 07 (FRANCE).

We remind you that you also have a right of access, rectification of any incorrect personal data and, in the cases provided for by the regulations, objection to or deletion of some of your data, to restrict its use or request its portability in view of its transfer to a third party, but also to define what happens to your data after your death.

However, to comply with the provisions of the "Eckert" Act (see https://ciclade.caissedesdepots.fr/en/special-terms-conditions-use-caisse-des-depots-ciclade-website) and the French Monetary and Financial Code, your personal data may be stored for a period of 67 years from the date of creation of your file, notwithstanding an interruption or stay of services. In this case, under Article 17 paragraph 3-b of the GDPR, your right to the erasure of your personal data is limited and data erasure requests are not admissible.
